This site is part of a set of experiments building web pages without CSS, JavaScript, or <img> tags. In this piece, the idea is to generate random color patterns.

IMPORTANT:
  1. The color swatches flash when changing. I wouldn't describe it as dramatic, but I'm not sensitive to that.

  2. The page may crash your browser. As of June 2022, it works fine on my modern mac use either Chrome or Firefox, but it starts locking up Safari after a couple seconds.

  3. You're back button probably won't work. You'll have to click a link, go to another page directly, or just close the page to move away from it.
